I really love the nuances of the technique that Andy shares. There is a meaningful difference between wishing something is/was a certain way and recalling a time when it was. The cycle of ‘wishing’ can be unhelpful but recalling a time where I was, you were, that way and moving forward with that – so much more powerful.
